Horse therapy for PTSD, anxiety and other trauma based illnesses

At June's Second Chance Ranch Inc., we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the epidemic of trauma based illnesses, especially in our veteran population. There are very few services for veterans and everyday people suffering from these ailments. Starting the equine therapy program is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate a successful program.

Interested in an equine therapy session at the ranch? Fill out our intake form by clicking the link below.

*JSCR is an all volunteer run facility and we are not licensed therapist or mental health professionals.

Junes Second Chance Ranch Takes in homeless animals that deserve a second chance after humans have failed them. We will provide loving care and shelter, and prepare them to be wonderful pets by providing training, socialization, medical care, and compassion. Our goal is to find loving homes for all of our rescues. Visit the "Adopt" page in our menu to see our adoptable animals and how to apply to adopt for a pet in our care!

Get To Know Charlie
I am a 14-year-old gelding that was rescued from the slaughter truck headed to Mexico. I was neglected for a long time but JSCR is fixing me up and I've never been happier! I LOVE people and I love being pet and just being around people.  I'm an all-around good boy and am so grateful for everything everyone has done to save me!
Charlie is being trained to be one of the horses used in our equine therapy program.
